The crypto-industry is already having a hard time in the Netherlands, see also Simon Lelieveldt’s blog , but is nothing compared to what is going to take place in India. India seems to be following China and wants to regulate cryptos much more to (almost) ban. Excluding the cryptos issued by the central bank of India, read CBDCs. According to Tanvi Ratna in her article in The Economic Times, the latter could increase financial stability.

Here in Europe too, the regulators are looking at crypto with Argus eyes, but I doubt that they want to go as far as India and China.
